What is Mediumship?

Mediumship is communication with spirits who are no long experiencing a physical incarnation.  I raise my vibration, while spirit lowers theirs.  We then meet in the middle to bring forward information relevant to you on your life path.  As this is 'evidential mediumship', I bring through evidence that I am connected with you and your loved one in spirit.

Can you predict the future?

I am highly sensitive to energy and spirit, but I am not a fortune teller.  One of the biggest misconceptions about this kind of work is that mediums and psychics can predict the future and provide all the answers. That simply isn't the case. The information I receive from Spirit is of a loving and encouraging nature to help you on your current path. Spirit won't provide lottery numbers, the name of who you will marry, or who will win the next election.

What can I expect my reading to be like?

A typical reading with me goes something like this.  I first connect with your energy and validate that we are connected.  This validation comes to me in feelings, sensations and thoughts.  I may feel personality traits, physical ailments, or information about where you are on your path.  I then invite a loved one to come forward from spirit and validate who they are through the information they provide to me through my clair-senses.  Once you are able to recognize who the loved one is, they will provide a message for you.  Messages from spirit are encouraging, healing and confirm the continuity of the soul.  At the end of the reading you may ask one question of spirit, if they didn't already answer your question in the reading - they're good at doing that.

Can you do readings over the phone?

I can, but it's not my personal preference. My primary tool for online readings is Zoom. We can also use FB Messenger Video or FaceTime.

We aren't in the same city, can I still have a reading/reiki session with you?

Absolutely!  I am able to do distance mediumship readings and reiki sessions.  Everything is energy and functions on intention, proximity does not affect that.  I have had sessions with people all over the globe, and the information comes through as if they're sitting in the same room with me.

How can I prepare for my reading?

Spend some time thinking about what you would like to hear about, or who you would like to hear from.  Often who a person is thinking of the day of the reading is the spirit person who shows up with a message.  I always leave time at the end of a reading for one question that you would like to ask Spirit, so take a few minutes to think about what you would like to ask. 
Also, please don't arrive for your reading under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  Those substances affect the energetic body and make it difficult for me to connect with your energy.  Hang overs have a similar effect. 

How soon after the passing of my loved one can I have a reading?

When a loved one passes over to Spirit, there is mourning and healing that needs to occur before a reading is recommended.  Heavy grief can causes blockages in the energy of the body and makes it difficult for me to connect with the sitter.  The spirit also needs time to adjust to their surroundings.  If the spirit had a difficult transition with a long illness or made the conscious decision to leave their body early, this can have an effect on how quickly they are able to come through a medium. 
With that being said, I recommend 4-6 months after a significant loss before seeking out a medium.

What are the 'clair senses'?

'The Claires' are the senses I use to communicate with Spirit.  I use a combination of these senses during mediumship readings.

How does Reiki work?

The word Reiki is broken down into two Japanese words; Rei and Ki. Rei meaning Universal and Ki meaning Chi, Prana or Life Force. Together they translate to Universal Energy.  Reiki is unconditional love and consciousness, it is an energy vibration that is close to the colour violet.  It supports healing on every level; mental, emotional, spiritual and physical.  I act as a conduit as Reiki energy moves through me from Spirit, the energy enters my client through the laying on of my hands.  The energy is intelligent and goes to where it is most needed or most beneficial.  It does not do the healing, but rather helps the body/mind to heal itself.

How long does each Reiki session take?

A typical reiki session will take 1 hour, with the reiki healing being approximately 45 minutes.  For children I shorten the time at each point as some kids are unable to stay still for a full treatment.

What can I expect my Reiki session to be like?

In one word; relaxing.
I use a massage table with a pillow under your head and a bolster under you knees to help with spine alignment.  Some people get cold during a session, so I provide a blanket as well.  To promote maximum relaxation, an eye pillow (scented with lavender or unscented) is placed over the eyes.  Soft soothing music is played in the background.  Many people fall naturally into a meditative state or nod off for some shut eye. 
Reiki is a 'laying on hands' energy healing, and I do put my hands on the body.  If you are sensitive to touch, I can hover my hands in the energetic aura, rather than making contact with the body.  It's all up to you. 

How does distance Reiki work?

Everything is energy.  You are energy vibrating at a cellular level, so is the desk your computer sits on, the trees outside, and the building you are in.  Reiki is energy that we can't see with our physical eyes.  Energy and vibration are not bound by the rules of solid things in our 3D world, and are thus everywhere at once.  Reiki can be done half a world away and also sent through time.  I simply make my intentions known to Reiki while I'm in a session, and it goes where it needs to.  To some this may seem wonky and like science fiction, but from my experience it simply works.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I can accept any form of payment through Square. I also accept e-Transfer or cash (when in person).  When services are done online or via distance, payment is due prior to the appointment time.
